Description	:	Martha D. Boyd Talkington, 88, of El Dorado passed away Monday,March 3,2014 in Pittsburg,Ks at Golden Living Center with her family by her side after moving there in December of 2013. Martha was born to parents Oliver and Goldie CLugston Boyd on February 2,1926 on the family farmstead near McCune,KS. She was a paternal twin to sister Margaret Dean Seely and she had a brother,Robert Allen Boyd who drowned in 1948 at Neosho River. She was a 1946 graduate of McCune High School and married February 3,1952 to Noel Talkington and his daughter, Nancy Ann. They moved to El Dorado and she worked at Woolworth's then later became a homemaker. She was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, Bluestem Campers, the Sun Chasers, and worked with the Red Cross during blood drives. She had a great love of the outdoors, camping and doing crafts. Surviving family is step-daughter,Nancy Ann Perez of Ceres,CA, twin sister, Margaret Dean Seely and husband Paul of Weir,KS.; grandchildren: Michael Keely and Lynn Scott both of California; five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel, her parents, and her brother,Robert Allen Boyd,. Funeral services were held at Trinity United Methodist Church in El Dorado on March 8,2014. Kirby-Morris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
