Description	:	Mrs. Roley Smith, 81, lifetime Tipton county resident, did at the Emergency hospital here Sunday morning. Death was caused by the effects of a fractured hip suffered last September. Mrs. Smith was born the daughter of Rev. Jacob and Rebecca (Pumphrey) Barrow in Windfall, January 27, 1863. Rebecca died in 1880 and Jacob then married Margaret E. Henry. She was twice married. Her first husband, Milo Mitchell, died in 1918. She married Mr. Smith in 1938 and he survives. Other survivors include a son and three daughters by her first marriage; O.D. Mitchell, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Edna Benedict, of Elwood; Miss Lema Mitchell, of Chicago, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Survivors also include three sisters; Mrs. T.M. Sellers, of Kokomo; Mrs. Zana Cole, of Bridgeport, Ill., and Mrs. Charles Trimble, of Richmond. A step-brother, George Henry of Windfall, also survives.
