Deceased was born in Bond County, Illinois, came to Kansas with her parents in 1867; was married to W. M. Arnold Oct. 1, 1873; and has been a member of the M. E. church for more than 14 years. Our sister has gone, has gone on before, Has crossed the river, to the beautiful shore. She said, Glory, I feel my sins are forgiven, And rejoiced at seeing the angels of Heaven. She has left this earth and gone to her rest. We miss her so, but our Father knows best. It left us with a wounded and lonely heart, When our dear loved one and we had to part. But our great loss is only her gain, She is free from sickness, sorrow and pain, Then why should we mourn for her, here below, When she said quickly "I am ready to go."
