Martha is also survived by nine grandsons, one granddaughter, fifteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Sister Carolyn Teter of Concordia, Kansas and Julia Williams of Tampa, Florida; one sister in-law, Martha Betsher of Eureka, Kansas and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Davis; two children, her son, Clark Davis and her daughter, Amy Meadows; her parents, William and Mary (Newby) Teter; one brother, Robert Teter; four sisters, Teresa Pugh, Lois Bitler, Clara Houston and Wilma Dunlap; and twin great grandsons. In 1958, Martha and David moved their family to Colorado Springs from Eureka, Kansas and were longtime residents of Peyton, Colorado Springs, and Fountain, Colorado. Martha sang in the choir at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church for many years and in later years was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fountain, Colorado. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 1:30 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Cheyenne Mountain Care Center, 835 Tenderfoot Hill Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado, where Martha has been a resident for the last seven years. There will be a Funeral Mass at a later date at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eureka Kansas. Burial will follow at the Greenwood County Cemetery in Eureka, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, 825 East Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
