Fauber, were held Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock at Vesuvius Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. W.M. Black, her former pastor, assisted by the Rev. W.M. Kissingre, present pastor, also the Rev. J.S. Cash of Kerrs Creek Baptist church. Hymns used were: "The Old Rugged Cross," "Sometime We'll Understand," and "Asleep in Jesus." Kissingre, present pastor, also the Rev. J.S. Cash of Kerrs Creek Baptist church. Hymns used were: "The Old Rugged Cross," "Sometime We'll Understand," and "Asleep in Jesus." Pallbearers were her grandsons, and flowerbearers were her granddaughters and close relatives and friends. Her remains were laid to rest by the side of her husband in Mt. Carmel cemetery. The large attendance and the many beautiful floral tributes attested the high esteem in which the deceased was held. Mrs. Fauber passed quietly away at her residence Sunday night at 10:30 o'clock November 21, 1943. Had she lived until Nov. 25, she would have been 73 years of age. Born at Vesusius, Mrs. Fauber spent her entire life in that neighborhood. Her husband preceded her in death 25 years ago. She had been a lifelong member of Vesusius Baptist church, to which she was devoted and took and active part as long as her health permitted, even after she was bedfast she enjoyed having Circle meetings in her home. She was a devoted and faithful mother and loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by both her loved ones and thosed in her immediate neighborhood. Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. W.L. Cook of Waynesboro, Mrs. W.S. Cash of Roanoke, Mrs. Thomas Edgar of Waynesboro R.F.D., Miss Lillian Fauber R.N. of Lynchburg, Mrs. H.H. Brooks of Vesusius; five sons: Mr. W.B. Fauber at home, B.H. of Brookwood, H.R. of Louisville, Ky., R.C. of New York city, and F.E. of U.S. Navy. F.E. Fauber her youngest son, was her only child unable to attend the funeral, as he is in U.S. Service somewhere overseas. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Ozella Mayo of Crimora, 28 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends and relatives not above mentioned attending funeral services from a distance were: Misses May and Ada Harvey, Miss Lillie Belle Hardy, Mrs. H.T. Thornhill and Mrs. Frank Cunningham, all of Lynchburg; Mr. and Mrs. D.H. Clayton of Shenandoah, and Mr. Andy Cash of Richmond. Also Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Turner, and Mr. Clyde Cook of Baltimore, Mrs. J. Lee Cash of Roanoke, Mr. and Mrs. William Perry of Sherando, and Cpl. Robert R. Cook of Camp Claiborne, La.
