Attended Ritzville schools graduating from high school there in 1929. Martha married Henry John Vostral on Nov 8, 1932. They made their home on the Vostral wheat farm near Marcellus, WA until his death, Feb 18, 1981. she moved into Ritzville in 1982. Member of the St Agnes Catholic Church and active in the church alter society, member of the Marcellus Grange and held several offices. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, six sisters and three brothers. Surviving is her son Henry J Vostral and wife Lois of Kalamazoo, Michigan; three granddaughters, Sharra Vostral and husband Ray Fouche' of Schenectady, NY, Mara Vostral of Cambridge, MA, and Chandra Vostral and husband Andrew Shauer of Salt Lake city, Utah; a sister, Bertha Allen, of Cheyenne, WY; a grandson Eads Vostral Fouche'; and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held Jan 5, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St Agnes Catholic Church, Ritzville, WA, with the Father Uche Obisike, officiating. Concluding services and vault interment will follow at Ritzville Memorial Cemetery. Danekas Funeral Home, Ritzville, is in charge of arrangements."
