Carroll Chronicle, Friday June 17, 1932 Mrs. Martha Jane Albaugh died on Monday at the home of her son, Thomas L. Albaugh, between Kilgore and Perrysville, Wednesday afternoon, funeral service being conducted by Rev. Foreman of New Rumley. The maiden name of the deceased was Leggett, and she was born in that community, Aug. 5, 1854. Her husband Orville Albaugh, died 20 years ago. Surviving are two sons, Orville, with whom she made her home and Earl of Pittsburgh; three daughters, Mrs. J.A. Hathaway and Mrs. Staub of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Charles Boles of Worcester, Mass.; two brothers, Mansfield and Jason Leggett of Perry; a sister, residing in New Philadelphia; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the United Presbyterian church. (6/13/1932)
