Carroll Chronicle, Friday January 31, 1919 Rosa Bell Albaugh, daughter of Martha Albaugh and the late Thomas Albaugh, died Thursday, Jan. 23, at the home of her sister, Mrs. M.E. Staub in Pittsburgh with whom she had lived for two years. Funeral services were held at Pittsburgh, Saturday morning, and also at the home of her mother in Perry tp. on Sunday afternoon. Carroll Chronicle, Friday January 31, 1919 Rosa Bell Albaugh, daughter of Martha Albaugh and the late Thomas Albaugh, died Thursday, Jan. 23, at the home of her sister, Mrs. M.E. Staub in Pittsburgh with whom she had lived for two years. Funeral services were held at Pittsburgh, Saturday morning, and also at the home of her mother in Perry tp. on Sunday afternoon. Burial was made in the U.B. cemetery, Perrysville, beside the grave of her father. The services were conducted by Rev. Hagelmire. The many floral offerings sent by Pittsburgh friends was evidence of their high esteem for her. Deceased was born in 1891. She is survived by her mother; two brothers, Orville at home, and Earl of New Philadelphia; three sisters: Mrs. M.E. Staub and Mrs. J.H. Hathaway of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Charles Boles of Boston, Mass. She was a life-long sufferer of organic heart trouble, and had many times expressed a desire to go home where there is no suffering or sorrow. Her life was a beautiful Christian one and she was always kind to every one. At noon the day before she died she told her sister that she would not be with them long and made all arrangements for being brought back home, and for her funeral. (1/23/1919)
