Mrs Mixon was born in Williamsburg County on July 7 1935 a daughter of the late Hughie O Morris and Annie Browder Morris. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Andrews. Mrs Mixon was a 1954 graduate of Williamsburg High School and married Levon Mixon December 31 1955. She was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church for approximately fifty years, where she served as the church organist. Mrs Mixon was a member of WMU and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband Levon Mixon, daughter Jonie Howard and her husband Joey of Andrews grandsons Kyle and Brett Howard of Andrews; brothers Thomas Morris, David Morris, JB Morris, Walker Morris and RC Morris; all of Andrews; sisters Mary Hancock of Columbia and Margie Brown of Charleston. She was predeceased by a sister Rosie Morris and brothers Oscar and Marvin Morris.
