Description	:	ANDREWS Thomas Whitfield Morris, Sr., 76, died Friday, December 28, 2001, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown. Mr. Morris was born in the Williamsburg County near Andrews on October 29, 1925, a son of the late Hughie Oscar Morris and Annie Marie Browder Morris. He grew up and lived in the Warsaw community of Williamsburg County all of his life. Mr. Morris served in the U.S. Army during WW II. Read More	ANDREWS Thomas Whitfield Morris, Sr., 76, died Friday, December 28, 2001, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown. Mr. Morris was born in the Williamsburg County near Andrews on October 29, 1925, a son of the late Hughie Oscar Morris and Annie Marie Browder Morris. He grew up and lived in the Warsaw community of Williamsburg County all of his life. Mr. Morris served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He had been a general contractor and owner of Thomas Morris Construction Company and was currently a well driller. Mr. Morris was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church. He was a widower of Sadie Mae Howard who died July 21, 1996. Surviving are: a daughter, Linda M. Smith of Andrews; three sons, Tommy Morris of Pawley's Island, Chris Morris of Andrews, and Randy Morris of Conway; four brothers, David J. Morris, Sr., J.B. Morris, J. Walker Morris, and R.C. Morris all of Andrews; two sisters, Mary M. Hancock of Columbia and Margie M. Brown of Charleston; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters; Rosie Morris and Joann M. Mixon; and two brothers, Marvin Morris and Oscar Morris. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, December 30, 2001, at 2:30 o'clock in Piney Forest Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. James May and the Rev. Frankie Tanner. Burial will follow in Piney Forest Cemetery under the direction of the ANDREWS CHAPEL OF MAYER FUNERAL HOME.
