She lived in Oroville, WA until the age of three and then moved to Lakeland Village in Medical Lake, WA. Her parents, Ray and Eula Kuntz, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sisters, Kathleen Lamarche, Rae Ann Brown, Virgie Kudron; and one brother, Mark Kuntz. Marci was an active member of the Lakeland Village community for the past 47 years. She lived in Oroville, WA until the age of three and then moved to Lakeland Village in Medical Lake, WA. Her parents, Ray and Eula Kuntz, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sisters, Kathleen Lamarche, Rae Ann Brown, Virgie Kudron; and one brother, Mark Kuntz. Marci was an active member of the Lakeland Village community for the past 47 years. She participated in Special Olympics in several events, including: baseball, bicycling and golf. Other favorite activities of hers were the Lakeland bowling league, Campfire and People First. She was an artist in the Ceramic Boutique as well as a shredder in the business office. She loved attending community sporting events, but her great love was hockey. She enjoyed going to the games and cheering loudly and enthusiastically for the Spokane Chiefs. Marci was a vigorous and boisterous person. She was known and loved by everyone on the Lakeland campus and her happy, outgoing personality brought joy to all who encountered her. Many thanks to everyone at Lakeland Village for their kind and compassionate care of Marci during her struggle with dementia. She received the finest care from the bravest, strongest, nicest, most caring, patient, understanding and competent staff. Also, thanks go to the clients of Apple Court, who were her best friends forever. Her light dimmed during her final days, but her spirit lit up the sky as she entered the Kingdom of Heaven. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in the mall on the Lakeland Village Campus, 2320 S. Salnave Rd, Medical Lake, WA. A graveside inurnment will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, August 22, 2010 at the Riverview Cemetery in Oroville, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeland Village Associates, PO Box 200, Medical Lake, WA 99022.
