He was born November 12, 1914, to Walter A. and Catherine (Faze) Kuntz in South Gate, CA. He graduated from South Gate High School in 1932. As a young man, he was active in several fraternal organizations, including DeMolay. He later joined the Masonic Lodge and was a member for 61 years. Read More	Raymond LeeRoy Kuntz, age 94, of Oroville, WA, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009, at North Valley Extended Care. He was born November 12, 1914, to Walter A. and Catherine (Faze) Kuntz in South Gate, CA. He graduated from South Gate High School in 1932. As a young man, he was active in several fraternal organizations, including DeMolay. He later joined the Masonic Lodge and was a member for 61 years. He moved to Oroville after marrying Eula Josephine Forney in 1940. He was an orchardist and involved with all aspects of the apple industry.He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Eula; his parents; one sister, Elsie Fleming; and one brother, Glenn Kuntz. He is survived by his children, Virgie (John) Kudron, Mark (Marsha) Kuntz, Kathleen (Roland) LaMarche, RaeAnn (Fred) Brown and Martha Kay Kuntz; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.A Memorial Service, honoring his Life, will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Oroville United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, P.O. Box 2472, Spokane, WA 99210-2472. Bergh Funeral Service, of Oroville/Tonasket, is in care of arrangements.
