Description	:	Martha Louise "Peg" Anderson, 95, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Wesley Acres. Martha was born August 18, 1916, to Albert and Mattie Kernen, on the family farm outside of Nodaway in Adams County. She worked at various places through out her life including the family restaurant and movie theater. Martha retired from Drs. Service Bureau after several years of service. Martha was a long time member of Capitol Hill Lutheran Church (formerly Central Lutheran Church), Luther Park Auxiliary, Lutheran Hospital Auxiliary, and Ruth Elizabeth Circle. Martha is survived by her son, Eugene (Martha) Anderson; grandchildren, Dennis, David (Ronda), Greg (Kerry), Rob (Mindy), Audra, and Tanya (Dave); ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil E. Anderson, son, Robert, and brothers, Chester, Leslie, and Russel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2012, at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church, 511 Des Moines Street. Burial will occur at 3:30 p.m., at Nodaway Cemetery in Nodaway, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to Capitol Hill Lutheran Church or Lutheran Park.
