Gravesen Called Sunday Funeral services were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Kenmare, for Mrs. Andrew K. Gravesen, 53, a resident of the community since 1920, who succumbed Sunday morning. Ill for two years with a heart condition, Mrs. Gravesen suffered a stroke late Wednesday night and was taken to the Deaconess Hospital. The Rev. Verner N. Vaaler was the accompanist. Pallbears were L. P. Hansen, Matt Ringen, Martin Olsen, Peter Petersen, Otto Nielsen and Eiler Pedersen. The M. Ringen funeral home was in charge of the arrangements. Born at Arlington, S. Dak. January 11, 1896, the former Martha Marie Sogaard was united in marriage to Andrew K. Gravesen, at Kenmare on October 30, 1920. Surviving are her husband, three sons and three daughters. The children are Marvin and Floyd both of Kenmare; LeRoy, Marian and Shirley at home, and Carol, a student at Dana College in Blair, Neb. There are two grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Peter C. Sogaard, of Seattle, Wash. Mrs. Gravesen was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church and a faithful worker in all braches of the church organization.
