Mrs. Miller was born January 12, 1908 at Marcus to Peter and Kristine (Sandbek) Miller. A lifelong Marcus area resident she graduated from Marcus High School. On May 21, 1957 she married Johann Miller at Marcus. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking and working with flowers. She had been a resident of the Heartland Care Center in Marcus the past two years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, WELCA of the church, and the Marcus senior citizens group. Survivors include three sons: LaVerne and his wife Jean, Plymouth, Minnesota; Edward and his wife Janet, Stockton, California; and Daniel and his wife Suellen, Council Bluffs, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; A brother, Herman Miller and his wife Charlotte, LeMars, Iowa; two sisters: Esther Galvin, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Rose Olson, Apple Valley, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, her husband on February 9, 1985; a son in infancy; six brothers; and three sisters.
