Read More	Martha Roesler 1913 – 2003 Martha Roesler, 89, of Miller, died Monday, July 21, 2003, at Prairie Good Samaritan Center in Miller. Martha Moos was born November 23, 1913, at Virgil, S.D. to Henry and Christina (Beuchler) Moos. At the age of five, she moved with her family at a farm north of Ree Heights, where she attended school. She was baptized in the Reformed Church, but later became a member of the Lutheran faith, where she was confirmed. She married Emil Roesler on March 3, 1940, in the Lutheran Church in Miller. They lived on a farm south of Miller and later moved to a ranch north of Miller. They moved to a home in Miller in 1960. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Grace Circle, Senior Center and the V.F.W. She is survived by two sons, Don (Joan) of Evanston, Wyo., and Robert (Mary) of Hotchkiss, Colo.; one daughter, Lynn Roesler, currently living in Saudi Arabia. She is also survived by a son-in-law, Clifford Volek and wife Delores, Highmore; an adopted sister, Lenora Ireland, of Santee, Calif.; two grandsons, Dirk Roesler of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Chad Roesler of Hotchkiss, Colo.; five granddaughters, Leann (Allen) Schnell, Shawn (Doug) LaMont, Deeadra (Doug) Kinniburgh, Traci (Joe) Stroh and Tammie Roesler; and two sisters-in-law, Viola Roesler, Henderson, Nev., and Lenora Smith, Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Verna Volek; brothers William and Eugene Moos; and an infant great-grandson.
