The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at New Hope United Methodist Church, off Highway 21, Rowesville, with the Rev. Bob Scroggs officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the church before the service. Pallbearers will be Dwight Ellisor, Jason Ellisor, Beau Busch, Adam Busch, Chris Busch, Pete Platt, Danny Brightwell and Darren Sanders. Martha "Nell" Busch was the daughter of the late Charlie Westbury and the late Mattie Funchess Westbury. A graduate of Rowesville High School and Bowen Business College in Columbia, she was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Rowesville. Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Busch, a Greyhound Bus retiree, in 2001; and by her brother, Lynn Westbury of Neeses. Survivors are her sons, Will Bruce Busch Jr. of Roweville, Steve (Patsy Holden) Busch of Rowesville, Stan Busch of Elloree; a daughter, Lynnell Busch (Daryl) Zissette of Denmark; grandchildren, Dwight Mark Elisor (Rachel R.) of Columbia, Jason (Michelle) Ellisor of Lexington, Tracey (Danny) Brightwell of Orangeburg, Beau Busch of Columbia, Joy (Darren) Sanders of Charleston, Adam (Sara) Busch of Charlotte, N.C., Stephanie (Pete) Platt of Seneca, Chris Busch of Rowesville and Tara Busch of Anderson; great-grandchildren, Jaid Brightwell, Hank Sanders, Julia Sanders, Lily Platt, Hannah Busch and Caden Busch; daughters-in-law, Maralene and Glenn Simpson of Rowesville and Jennifer and Ron Rash of Yongues Island; ex-son-in-law, Jerry Ellisor of Spartanburg; a nephew, Sammy Busch of Pageland; and her pet, Megan. Friends may call at the home of her daughter at 288 Woodland Road, Denmark. Memorials may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 54, Rowesville, SC 29133, for the cemetery fund. The family would like to thank Ahava Hospice for all their services rendered.
