JOHN LINDBERG Martha Peterson was born in Sweden Sept. 23, 1843 and died at Wall Lake, Iowa, January 28, 1922 at 8 o'clock p.m. She came to this country in 1868, settling first in Illinois. On August 1 of that year she was married to John Lindberg at Bishop Hill, Ill. They moved to Sac County in 1878 and resided on a farm southeast of Wall Lake until the year 1902 when they moved to Lake View, where they resided until about three years ago when they moved to... JOHN LINDBERG Martha Peterson was born in Sweden Sept. 23, 1843 and died at Wall Lake, Iowa, January 28, 1922 at 8 o'clock p.m. She came to this country in 1868, settling first in Illinois. On August 1 of that year she was married to John Lindberg at Bishop Hill, Ill. They moved to Sac County in 1878 and resided on a farm southeast of Wall Lake until the year 1902 when they moved to Lake View, where they resided until about three years ago when they moved to Wall Lake. She is survived by 8 children: Albert, of Lake View; Susie Johnson, of Long Beach, Cal.; Mary Tielborg, of Fowler, Colo.; Emma Swanson, of Wall Lake; Frank of Dundurn, Canada; Ada Harvey of Woolcott, Colo.; Mabel Waller and Maude Lander, of Stratford, Iowa. One daughter, Jennie, died in 1888 at the age of 19. She also leaves 26 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lindberg has been an invalid for the last seven years, being bedfast for the last year. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the M. E. Church, Rev. F. F. Robinson officiating. Interment was made in the Wall Lake Cemetery.
