She was the daughter of Henry and Mary (Reuter) Promes. She worked as a Housekeeper for priests for many years. She retired in St. James. She is remembered for the generous donations to the parish. Among the items donated were the new glass doors in front of the Church, the three dark red velvet chairs for the sanctuary, a silver chalice and a very elegant lace... Read More	SS.
