Description	:	Mrs. Samuel E. (Martha) Biederman, 90-year-old widely known Lima area pioneer resident, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday at 628 Albert-st. Mrs. Biederman, who was born and reared near Ft. Amanda, had been making her home with a son, William. Death came after an illness of several years. Mrs. Biederman's husband died nine years ago. Collett-st; George, 624 E. Kibby-st; Clarence, 421 W. Kibby-st; Lewis and David Biederman, both of Spencerville. Four daughters, Mrs. Clifford Smith, 114 1/2 W. Spring-st; Mrs. Edward Harper, St. Marys, O.; Mrs. Ben Montague, Toledo; Mrs. Edward Rice, Dayton, O.; a sister, Mrs. Rose Hipp of Dayton, 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive. The body is to be taken from the Siferd and Son mortuary chapel to the 628 Albert-st home. Last rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Christie chapel. The Rev. C. L. Quinn, pastor of the Lima Church of God, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Ft. Amanda cemetery. (published in The Lima News, Tuesday, June 2, 1942, page 4)
