The family lived in Nelson for many years and left Nebraska seven years ago to make their home in Colorado. Mr. Shipman was a native of Edson, Kans., where he was born April 29, 1887. Mrs. Shipman, a son Alvin of Evergreen, Colo., and a daughter, Mrs. Robert Nelson of Fremont, survive. Jack Wilson and Gerald Whiteley were pallbearers at the Wednesday services.
