Read More	Martin "Mike" Hanson Feb 04 1931 - Nov 30 2005 Mike was born February 4, 1930 near Flandreau, SD. He grew up on a farm near Trent, SD where he received his education. Upon graduating from Trent High School, Mike held several jobs in the carpentry industry. He served in the US Army from 1951 until receiving his honorable discharge in 1953 He was united in marriage with Pauline Adams on February 27, 1954 in Luverne, MN. Following their marriage, he began his career with Modern/Label. He retired with more than 30 years of service. At the time of his retirement, he was the manager of the label division for the company. In addition to working at Modern Press, Mike also owned and operated Worthing Grocery and Meats in Worthing, SD and the Maverick Steak House in Worthing. Mike and Pauline enjoyed traveling, most recently visiting Washington D.C. with their family. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and the DAV. His primary interest was his family, however he also had an interest in aviation and history. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Pauline; his sons, Terry Hanson (Lynn), Jeffrey Hanson (Sandy), and Bruce Hanson (Lori); his daughters, Jackie Hinrichs (Dean), Paula Haight (Jim), Patricia Barg (Paul), and Lisa Hanson (Chuck); 22 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Milton Hanson; and an aunt, Clista Collins. He was preceded in death by three children, Steven, Michael and Paul; his parents; his twin sister, Martha; and a brother, Barney.
