Read More	Pauline Eunice Hanson Oct 27 1932 - Aug 12 2009 Pauline Hanson, 76 of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at Avera McKennan Hospital. Pauline Eunice Hanson, daughter of James and Marguerite (Castle) Adams, was born on October 27, 1932, in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up there and received her education, graduating from the St. Joseph Cathedral High School in 1951. She then obtained her teaching certificate. Pauline taught at a country school and worked briefly at Kresges and Walgreens until meeting Martin Hanson at the Arkota Ballroom. Pauline was united in marriage with Martin Hanson on February 27, 1954, in Luverne, MN. The couple resided in Sioux Falls and Pauline remained at home to raise the children. After the kids were out of the house, Pauline ran an in-home daycare and later traveled across the country with her husband. Martin passed away on November 30, 2005. After his passing, Pauline remained busy playing cards and Farkle with friends. She was a member of St. Therese and made sure to help clean the church every Friday with her friends. She was a youthful and outgoing woman who was very strong in her faith and family. Having been a homemaker, Pauline honed her skills as one of the greatest cooks in the country. One of her biggest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who affectionately knew her as "Grandma Great". Grateful for having shared her life are her sons Terry Hanson and his wife Lynn, Worthing, SD, Jeff Hanson and his wife Sandy, Sioux Falls, SD, Bruce Hanson and his wife Lori, Sioux Falls, SD; daughters Jackie Hinrichs and her husband Dean, Sioux Falls, SD, Paula Haight and her husband Jim, Sioux Falls, SD, Lisa Hanson and her husband Chuck Birchem, Seattle, WA, Trisha Barg and her husband Paul, Sioux Falls, SD; sisters Mitzi Baustian, Jasper, MN, Gussie Lewis and her husband Dwane, Sturgis, SD, Susan Thomas, Sioux Falls, SD; brothers Bud Adams and his wife Carol, Brandon, SD, Jim Adams, Sturgis, SD; 21 Grandchildren, Sarah, Denise, Matthew, Sean, Brandie, Kelly, Justin, Casey, Jeremy, Ashley, Chelsea, Nicholas, Jessica, Jaime, JJ, Andy, Nicole, Lyndsy, Steven, Martin; 12 Great Grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan, Aiden, Cooper, Hannah, Alexis, Aaliah, Alexis, Izaac, Madison, Izabelle, Alexander; and many other relatives and friends. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Martin; and 3 sons, Steven, Michael, and Paul; and great grand-son Paul Riley. Visitation will begin at 12 pm with the family present from 5 to 7 pm and a Prayer Service followed by a Rosary at 6 pm on Friday, August 14, 2009, at Miller Funeral Home, 13th and Main. A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at St. Therese Catholic Church with burial at St. Michael Cemetery. Miller Funeral Home 507 S.
