Description	:	Marvin Dean Miller, 84, of rural McGregor, Iowa, died Monday, December 7, 2015, at Crossing Rivers Health, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Marvin was born on May 11, 1931 to Harva Oscar and Veryle Irene (Nichols) Miller in Waterloo, Iowa. He graduated from Luana High School in 1949. Read More	Marvin Dean Miller, 84, of rural McGregor, Iowa, died Monday, December 7, 2015, at Crossing Rivers Health, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Marvin was born on May 11, 1931 to Harva Oscar and Veryle Irene (Nichols) Miller in Waterloo, Iowa. He graduated from Luana High School in 1949. Marvin was united in marriage to Darlene Dorothy Levenhagen on November 23, 1952. Eight children were born to this union. He farmed for many years north of Luana, Iowa, until his retirement. In 1979, Marvin and Darlene moved to a place in the country east of Monona, which they called Hidden Valley. He then worked for the Allamakee Implement in Waukon, Iowa. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood carving and playing pool. Marvin had a passion for model planes and could be found building, flying model air planes and crashing them. He was a licensed pilot for a small charter plane. He was a member of the MFL School Board and AMPI. Marvin loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed his home at Hidden Valley. He and his family also enjoyed camping and traveling together. Marvin was preceded in death by his son, David Dean Miller in 1978; his parents, Harva and Veryle Miller; randdaughter, Caryn Darlene Enyart in 1989 and a great grandson, Denley Joseph Delagardelle in 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015, at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, Iowa. The Rev. Erika Kielstrup will officiate. Burial will follow in the Postville Cemetery, Postville, Iowa. Leonard – Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Monona, Iowa
