Description	:	Marvin Edward Poston, 69, of St. Stephen, SC, a retired general foreman for Shop 56 at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, died Saturday morning at his residence. His memorial service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday afternoon, July 27, 2010, in the St. Stephen Christian Church. Interment will be at a later date in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the CHURCH from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday evening. Mr. Poston was born Aug. 2, 1940, in St. Stephen, SC, a son of Elton Carlos Poston and Annie Keller Poston. He was an Air Force veteran and a graduate of St. Stephen High School. Mr. Poston was a member, an Elder, and former Chairman of the Board of St. Stephen Christian Church. He was also a board member and the manager of Sunset Memorial Cemetery and a member of Mt. Hope Lodge #128 AFM. Mr. Poston formerly operated the St. Stephen Fish Lift. Surviving are, his wife, Donna Rogers Poston; a daughter, Stephanie P. Dawson and her husband, Christian, of St. Stephen; a son, Randy Poston of St. Stephen; a sister, Patricia Ward of Cordesville; and six grandchildren, Brent Dawson, Blaise Poston, Laurel Poston, Emily Dawson, Ethan Dawson, and Raegan Poston.
