He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys, where he had served on the consistory and was a former trustee. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed building bird houses; he also loved walking in the woods and seeing wildlife. Funeral rites will be at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
