Description	:	Funeral rites for Mary Agnes Sherry, 80, who died at her home in Chelan, Thursday, were held Sunday. Mary Agnes Lathrop was born near Glenwood, Minnesota, on May 16, 1862. At the age of 13 her mother died and she, with a younger sister and brother came west to Ca., where the father and older brother were employed. Mary Agnes Lathrop was born near Glenwood, Minnesota, on May 16, 1862. At the age of 13 her mother died and she, with a younger sister and brother came west to Ca., where the father and older brother were employed. They lived at Modest, Ca., for some time, then came north to Dayton, Wa. From there, the family moved to a farm near Asotin. She was married to Francis Marion Sherry November 30, 1881. Mr. Sherry was a Civil War Veteran and with Sherman in his march to the sea. He preceded her in death in 1888. In 1919, she came to Chelan with her daughter and family and has lived here since that time. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lucy O'Donnel of Chelan; a son, Harry Ernest; one brother in Ca., a sister, in Cashmere; and four grandchildren.
