Read More	The Daily Telegram (Columbus), June 4, 1945, p. 8, col. 3 Funeral Services Tuesday For Miss Mary McMahon Miss Mary Agnes McMahon, 76, died about 10 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s hospital where she had been making her home for more than the past two years. She was born Dec. 11, 1868 in New York, the daughter of John C. and Mary McMahon, and when a young girl came with her parents to Columbus, where she has since resided. She received her education at St. Francis academy here. For a number of years she was matron at the state industrial school for girls at Geneva, Nebr., during which time her sister, the late Miss Lyda McMahon, was superintendent of the school. Following this she was employed for a few years as matron of employees at the Brandies Store in Omaha. She was a member of the Catholic church here. Miss McMahon is survived by a nephew, Mark T. McMahon, jr., of Kansas City, Mo.; two great nephews and one great niece; and is a sister-in-law of Mrs. M. T. McMahon of Columbus. She was preceded in death by one brother, Dr. M. T. McMahon of Columbus, who died in September, 1938; and four sisters, Misses Lyda, Margaret, Katherine, and Nan McMahon, all of Columbus. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bonaventure church with Rev. J. J. Brogger, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Gass chapel from 1 p.m. today until the hour of the service. Friends of the family will pray the rosary at 8 p.m. today at the Gass chapel. ______ June 5, 1945, p. 8, col. 2 McMahon Services – Funeral services for Miss Mary Agnes McMahon, 76, who died at 10 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s hospital, were held at 9:30 a.m. today at St. Bonaventure church with Rev. J. J. Brogger, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl Herrguth, Hanson McElfresh, Paul McTaggert, Ed Kavanaugh, Con Keating, and Emil Luckey.
