Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at the Greeley Sacred Heart Church with Father Don Buhrman officiating. Interment will be in the Greeley Sacred Heart Cemetery. Read More	Mary Alice Donovan Mary Alice Donovan, 86, of Greeley, Nebraska died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Greeley Care Home with her family by her side. T.J. Finn & Sons Mortuary is in charge of the services. Mary Alice was born March 2, 1927, at St. Paul, Nebraska to John and Alice (Stout) Kittridge. She was baptized at The Church of the Visitation in O'Connor, NE. Mary Alice grew up on a farm near O'Connor and graduated from St. Joseph Academy in O'Connor. After graduation she worked at a factory Grand Island during the war before becoming a telephone operator. Mary Alice and Bernard Donovan were united in marriage August 22, 1950, at O'Connor, Nebraska. The couple lived on the family farm their entire married life. To this union ten children were born. Bernard passed away in December of 1999. Mary Alice was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She made the best fried chicken, bread and cinnamon rolls. No one left hungry from her house. She was a gentle and compassionate woman. Mary Alice enjoyed spending time with family and playing solitaire and reading. She was a life-long Catholic and a member of the Catholic Daughters. Survivors of the immediate family include her children and spouses, Patty and Frank Vasquez of Kearney, Tom and Kathy Donovan of Greeley, Maureen and Joe Spain of Crofton, MD, Jamie and Madge Donovan of Brighton, CO, Jerry Donovan of Greeley and fiancée, Marcia Kelly of Omaha, Marian and Gary Mike Hubbard of Elm Creek, Greg and Virginia of Lincoln; a family friend, Gretchen Behnk of Greeley; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Tom and Patsy Kittridge of Westminster, CO, Jerry and the late Marge Kittridge of Omaha, and Dick and Jane Kittridge of Grand Island; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Donovan of Greeley. Also left to cherish her memory are 18 grandchildren; 9 great-children and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bernard; two sons, Mike and John, an infant daughter Mary Teresa; and two infant sisters. Published: www.knlvradio.com/ April 12, 2012
