Hovey, November 18, 1891, when she moved to the present home near Victor. Mrs. Hovey had a cheerful, sunny disposition which endeared her to her many friends. Wilson was born in Belle Plaine, Iowa, January 29, 1870, and died at her home near Victor, June 30, 1915, aged 45 years, 5 months and 1 day. She lived in Belle Plaine until her marriage to C. C. Hovey, November 18, 1891, when she moved to the present home near Victor. Mrs. Hovey had a cheerful, sunny disposition which endeared her to her many friends. Although partially an invalid for many years she bore her sufferings with patience and cheerfulness. She was a devoted wife and mother. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, three daughters, Alma, Julia and Mia, one sister, Miss Jennie Wilson of Belle Plaine and two brothers, John D. Wilson of Belle Plaine and Frank L. Wilson of Mechanicsville. The funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon. "In the dress that she was Wed in, That her Spirit might have rest." The interment was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Victor.
