Read More	Obituary: Mary Angeline Noftzger was born in Liberty Mills, August 6, 1846 and died at Marion, Indiana, April 7th, 1905, at the age of 58 years, eight months and one day. She was married to David E. Shaffer November 7, 1877, in this city. Mrs Shaffer was the mother of five children, three of whom with her husband survive her. They are Bruce E., Byron O., and Fern M. The deceased was a great sufferer for many months but bore her afflictions with the greatest patience and christian fortitude. Her family and friends have the blessed assurance that she has gone where no storms ever beat on the glittering strand. Funeral services were conducted at the family home in Marion last Sunday afternoon by Rev. James E Shannon, pastor of the United Brethren Church of that City hurry Maine's were brought to this city for burial Monday and interment took place in Oaklawn Cemetery. A brief service was conducted at the grave. Quite a number of friends accompanied the remains to this city from Marion. Mrs. Shaffer was a lady well-known and highly respected in this city where she resided for many years. Death Certificate: Name listed as Marry A. Schafer[sic]; cause of death: consumption for 6 mos.; Daughter of ? Noftzger and Amelia Hoover; burial: North Manchester. Informant: David E. Shafer[sic].
