Born in the Meeting House in Hopkins, she was the daughter of the late John Gorman Clarkson, Sr. and Sarah Fellers and the widow of Charles Walton Hotinger. Read More	Mrs. Mary Ann C Hotinger MAY 26, 1928 – JUNE 22, 2021 HOPKINS - Mary Ann Hotinger, age 93, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the Episcopal Home at Still Hopes. Born in the Meeting House in Hopkins, she was the daughter of the late John Gorman Clarkson, Sr. and Sarah Fellers and the widow of Charles Walton Hotinger. Mary Ann was a graduate of Lower Richland High School and the University of South Carolina. Active in the Episcopal Church, she served on the Vestry and as Junior Warden at St. John's, Shandon, as well as serving on the Altar Guild and the ECW at St. John's, Congaree. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and traveling. She visited many places including Alaska, Hawaii, London, Stuttgart, Paris and Hong Kong. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Mark Galloway, Fran and Al Burnett, and Melinda and Ken Harrill; grandchildren, Amy Hearin, Caroline and husband Ryan Webber, Todd and wife Jamie Burnett, and Walt and wife Elizabeth Burnett; great-grandchildren, Drew, Will and Weston Webber. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 28, at St. John's Episcopal Church, Congaree, conducted by the Reverend Charles Davis. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John's Congaree Cemetery Fund, 1151 Elm Savannah Road, Hopkins, SC 29061 are suggested.
