Description	:	Daughter of Adolph and Lydia (Ott) Fullner. On June 12, 1955, she married Leland Liibbe in rural Beemer. He died Aug. 14, 2008. Survivors include her son, Allen Liibbe and his wife, Marie, of Kearney; daughters, Janet Young and her husband, Greg, of Sioux City, Iowa, Rita Shirley and her husband, Don, of Littleton, Colo., Lois Johnson and her husband, Jeff, of Underwood, Iowa, and Karen Lofink and her husband, Mike, of Orange, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Dave Fullner and his wife, Jerri, of Wisner. She was raised on the farm and attended St. John's Lutheran School in rural Beemer. In the early years, she worked for area families helping with household chores and child rearing. She and her husband were married at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Beemer. The couple lived at West Point, where Mary Ann was a homemaker and did baby-sitting for several families through the years. In August 2003 they moved to Colonial Haven in Beemer. She was a former longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and LWML in West Point and was a member of St. John's Lutheran in Beemer at the time of her death. Mary Ann enjoyed her garden and canning but will be most remembered for the wonderful care she gave to those around her. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Nancy and Doris Liibbe; brothers, Myron and Alwin Fullner; and sister, Helen Stark.
