Read More	Obituary - Mary Ann Henry Herre The Fremont Tribune December 4, 1946 Mrs. Mary Herre, Fremonter for 68 Years, Dies at 80 Mrs. Mary Ann Herre, 80, who came to Fremont 68 years go, died early Wednesday morning at the home of her son, George Herre, 905 N. Somers. She had been in ill health for the past year and a half and had been bedfast for the last six weeks. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the First Methodist church, Dr. Paul M. Hillman, pastor of the church will officiate and interment is to be in Ridge cemetery. The Fred Bader funeral home is in charge of the services. Mrs. Herre, the former Mary Ann Henry, was born at Buffalo, N. Y. Nov. 18, 1866, and came to Fremont 68 years ago with her parents. They had made their home at Hooper, previous to coming to Fremont, where her father was a carpenter. Mrs. Herre was a charter member of the Woodman Circle lodge, and was baptized in the Lutheran faith. Survivors are four sons, Ed, George and Herb Herre, all of Fremont. Jake Herre of Council Bluffs; two daughters, Mrs. Amanda Medows, and Mrs. William Pitcock, both of Fremont; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Mr. Herre died July 11, 1922, and two sons, Charles and Fred also preceded her in death.
