Funeral services were conducted from her late home at 10 o'clock on Wednesday morning. She was the mother of Ernest Sterling of Lawsonia and Hiram Sterling of Crisfield of the wholesale firm of H. L. Sterling & Co.; also of Mrs. James Lawson of Lawsonia; Mrs. Ella Stevenson of Marion, and Mrs. Addie Johnson of Meadow Field, near Phoenix M. P. Church. The deceased had been ailing for some time and spent the summer with her daughter, Mrs. Stevenson, at Marion, and it was only two weeks ago that she was conveyed to her own home here at her request, where she remained only about two days to be removed and cared for at the home of her daughter in Lawsonia, where she expired.
