The couple lived in Plano, Texas, and later moved to Columbia, Maryland. She was a member of St. John's Evangelistic Roman Catholic Church in Columbia. Survivors include her husband; a son, Erik of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Courtney of Columbia; a sister and her husband, Renee and Dick Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska; four brothers and their wives, Myron and Janice Wimmer, James and Kay Wimmer, all of Kingsley, Iowa, Marvin and Kay Wimmer of Mapleton and Kelly and Rae Wimmer of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; and a granddaughter, Haley. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Candia.
