Description	:	Obituary Tipton Advertiser February, 1910 Mrs. Mary Werling. The above named who died at her home in this city last Sunday evening, Feb. 27, 1910, was born in Chester, Meigs county, Ohio, April 19, 1864. She was married to Charles Werling in the spring of 1884 and to them were born four children, Nora, who died in infancy, William, Lewis and Charles, who were at her bedside at the time of her death. Read More	Obituary Tipton Advertiser February, 1910 Mrs. Mary Werling. The above named who died at her home in this city last Sunday evening, Feb. 27, 1910, was born in Chester, Meigs county, Ohio, April 19, 1864. She was married to Charles Werling in the spring of 1884 and to them were born four children, Nora, who died in infancy, William, Lewis and Charles, who were at her bedside at the time of her death. She is also survived by her mother and two sisters and three brothers, who with a large circle of friends will deeply mourn her loss. Mr. and Mrs. Werling came to Iowa in the Spring of 1895 and engaged in farming in the vicinity of Tipton until Mr. Werling's death, Feb. 24, 1908, and since that time Mrs. Werling has made her home in Tipton. Early in life Mrs. Werling united with the Lutheran church in Ohio and on removing to Tipton she placed her membership in the Lutheran church of this city, Sept. 27, 1908. The funeral services were held from the Lutheran church Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in charge of the pastor, J. Kent Rizer, who spoke from the text I. Thess. 4:13. Music was furnished by the Male Quartette and the floral offerings and large attendance gave token of the high regard held for the deceased. Interment was in Masonic cemetery.
