Description	:	Mary Belle Pryor, daughter of John W. and Mahala J. Pryor, was born at Saxiton, Mo., March 3, 1874, and died at her home near Beeler, on July 23, 1947, at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 20 days. She received her early schooling in St. Joseph and Kansas City, Mo., later becoming a nurse at the state hospital for the insane at St. Joseph, Mo., for a period of 10 years. Read More	Mary Belle Pryor, daughter of John W. and Mahala J. Pryor, was born at Saxiton, Mo., March 3, 1874, and died at her home near Beeler, on July 23, 1947, at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 20 days. She was later employed in the dry goods business in Kansas City, Mo. She became a member of the Christian Church in her early girlhood. On April 20, 1920, she became the wife of Oscar C. Beamer at Paola. They made their home at Louisburg, coming to Ness County on March 16, 1926. Mrs. Beamer was of a kind and loving nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to any one in distress. No one could have been a better mother to her step-children than she. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and two step-children; Mrs. Tom Clyne of Arnold and Lester Beamer of Louisburg, four grandchildren, Mary Lou and Leslie Mae Beamer and Sonja Kay and Ricki Clyne; one brother, L.Q.C. Pryor of Albuquerque, New Mex.; three nieces and seven nephews; also Joe Odor, who has made his home with them the pat four years. Her parents and one sister, Mrs. R.C. Dyer of Carthage, Mo.; preceded her in death. Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church in Ransom, Friday afternoon, July 25, conducted by the Rev. Samuel Paulding. Burial was in the Ransom cemetery. Ness Co. News, July 31, 1947
