Description	:	Mrs. John Spar died Monday morning at the family home near Venus. She was seventy six years old. She had been a sufferer the past three years with cancer, the last year almost helpless. Mary Besore was born in 1832 in Franklin county, Penn, where she was married to John Spar, May 1852. They moved to Illinois, residing there until September 1885, when they moved to Griswold, Iowa. In 1901 they came to Creighton, Nebr. and took up their residence on the Hengstler place, afterwards moving to Venus, where they resided with their son, Frazie, until the end came. She was a consistent... Read More	Mrs. John Spar died Monday morning at the family home near Venus. She was seventy six years old. She had been a sufferer the past three years with cancer, the last year almost helpless. Mary Besore was born in 1832 in Franklin county, Penn, where she was married to John Spar, May 1852. They moved to Illinois, residing there until September 1885, when they moved to Griswold, Iowa. In 1901 they came to Creighton, Nebr. and took up their residence on the Hengstler place, afterwards moving to Venus, where they resided with their son, Frazie, until the end came. She was a consistent member of the Baptist church. Her cheerful and pleasant manner won her many true and lasting friends. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Enterprise schoolhouse. Burial was made in the Enterprise cemetery, a large number of friends being in attendance. She leaves a husband and seven children to mourn her death, Mrs. Carson of Alma, Nebr., Mrs. Fraim of Orchard, Frazie and Isaac of Venue, Mack of Helmer, S.D., John of Pierce and Frank of Wayne county, Ill.. all of whom were at the bedside, when death came. They will all miss her, but none so much as the faithful companion, who has walked by her side for fifty seven years. The relatives have the sympathy of all in this their greatest bereavement.
