Mary Cahill was born in Bagenalstown, the county of Carlow, Ireland, June 15th, 1832, and died at her home in Seward, Nebr., Sept. 23d, 1913, aged 81 years, 3 months and 8 days. She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters, Mrs. Maggie Osborn of Staplehurst, Mrs. Mary Lovell of Utica and Mrs. Nellie Shaffer of Elkhart, Ind., and one son, Edward Flynn of Staplehurst. She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters, Mrs. Maggie Osborn of Staplehurst, Mrs. Mary Lovell of Utica and Mrs. Nellie Shaffer of Elkhart, Ind., and one son, Edward Flynn of Staplehurst. Twenty grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive her. She came to America in 1855 and settled at Onargo, Ill., where she was married a year later to Edward Flynn. In 1875 they moved to Nebraska and settled on a farm west of Seward. Her husband died fourteen years ago. Six years ago she removed to Seward where she has since lived. She was a good christian mother, and lived as near right as she knew how. She was a regular attendant at church as long as she was able, and when preparing to leave town to stay with her daughter for the winter she sent for the priest, and her last words were: “I am ready and willing to go when the Lord calls.” The remains were taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Osborn, near Staplehurst on Thursday, and on Saturday funeral services were held at the Catholic church at Ulysses, being attended by a large number of old neighbors and friends. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery at Ulysses. CARD OF THANKS.
