They settled in St. Mark's parish, opened another store, a sawmill and a grist mill. They had one child, a son, Thomas Sumter, Jr., born August 30, 1768. Additional Information: It's quite firm that she was previously married to William Jameson who died about 1766, that she married General Thomas Sumter about 1767, and that she died 24 Oct 1817.
