Description	:	Mary McPherson Mount Chase and Presque Isle 83. Died 7-29-2007 at the nursing home in Patten. She was born 7-17-1924 in Presque Isle, the daughter of J. Finch Park and Isadore (Hawes) Park. She grew up in Presque Isle on a potato farm and graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1941. After marriage in 1945 to G. She was amember of Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church, Patten, where she was an active member in the womens group and sang in the choir. She was also a member of other community groups, Shin Pond Coffee Babes and Snowshoe Quilters. She enjoyed home cooking, playing the piano, singing, sewing, quilting and other crafts. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, G. Alex McPherson of Patten, a brother, Larry Park and his wife Edith of Presque Isle, children, Anne Baker and her husband Larry of Avon, George McPherson and his wife Linda of Oxbow, Evelyn Marquis and her husband, Jay of Royal Palm Beach of Florida and Ralph McPherson and his wife Paula of Bangor, 3 grandchildren, George McPherson III, Jeremy Baker and Erin Perkins, 5 great grandchildren, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Burial Fairmount cemetery.
