Poling, 80-year-old former Ottumwan, died Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the Delnor hospital in St. Charles, Ill. Mrs. Poling was the wife of the late Morris W. Poling, who was co-owner of the former Poling Electric Company here for many years. She was born July 24, 1871, in Muscatine county and had lived in Ottumwa most of her life before moving to Wheaton, Ill., five years ago to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Edward C. Cunningham. During her residence here she was a member of the Willard Street Methodist church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Cunningham of Wheaton, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Jamie and Ann Cunningham, both of Wheaton. Her husband preceded her in death August 21, 1946; as did one brother. The casket will be taken to the Johnson funeral chapel Friday morning pending completion of arrangements.
