Description	:	Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Mary Nihart Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Nihart, who passed away at Lundberg Memorial Hospital in Creighton Thursday, Feb 24 were conducted Sunday afternoon at Hengstler's Chapel with the Rev. H.F. Beebe, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery beside the grave of her husband. Pallbearers were Ivan Copeland, John Rehder, Harry Tyler, E.E. Jacobs, Loyd West and Charles Bartling. Mary Catherine Mark, daughter of Harrison and Sara Mark, was born in Richardson County on April 9, 1870. Jacobs, Loyd West and Charles Bartling. Mary Catherine Mark, daughter of Harrison and Sara Mark, was born in Richardson County on April 9, 1870. She was nearly 85 years of age at the time of her death. In 1893 she was united in marriage to Lisander Nihart and to this union one son and one daughter were born. Mr. and Mrs. Nihart homesteaded in Knox County and lived their entire lives in the Creighton vicinity. For many years they operated a restaurant in Creighton. In addition to her two children, she reared four other children and often helped her neighbors. Surviving are her son, Walter A. Nihart of Crofton; her daughter, Mrs. Lucy Snell of Creighton; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
