Description	:	Mary Coleen Heland of Buckeye, Arizona formerly of Burlington, Iowa, died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, January 14 at her home in Buckeye. She was born September 4, 1962 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa. She was the daughter of Leo T. and Jacqueline Musgrove Heland. She is survived by her special friend Terri Hernandez and her family in Buckeye. Ms. Heland moved to Burlington in 1974 with her family and graduated from Notre Dame High School. Read More	Mary Coleen Heland of Buckeye, Arizona formerly of Burlington, Iowa, died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, January 14 at her home in Buckeye. She was born September 4, 1962 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa. She was the daughter of Leo T. and Jacqueline Musgrove Heland. She is survived by her special friend Terri Hernandez and her family in Buckeye. Ms. Heland moved to Burlington in 1974 with her family and graduated from Notre Dame High School. Mary moved to Arizona in 1983 and devoted her life to the elder health care field. She was a social worker for many years in Glendale and was director of social services at Life Care of Glendale. She fell into ill health and was forced into early retirement. Mary was a cancer survivor and as anyone who knew her would tell you was a tireless worker and advocate for the seniors entrusted to her care. Mary enjoyed camping, spending time with her family and friends as well as her pets. She very much enjoyed shopping, cooking and entertaining in her Arizona home. Mary is also survived by her father Leo and her brothers, Tom (Donna), and (Cynthia) Jeff Heland. Mary is also survived by her nieces Allison Behne, Dusty Embree, Kelli Fountain, and Erin Hinebaugh. Mary has six great nephews and three great nieces. Mary's cremains will be interred at a later date in the family plot at St. Mary's Cemetery of Weller, Iowa.
