(Mama Mae) Logsdon, 67, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, where she had been a patient two days. A native of Lonaconing, she was a daughter of John Martin and Matilda (Ross) Barry, and was the widow of Daniel (Kenny) Logsdon. Mrs. Logsdon had operated Mama Mae's Tavern at Barton for 13 years. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic church, here, the Third Order of St. Francis, the Blessed Mother of Sodality of St. Mary Church, Lonaconing, and the Barton unit of the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are two sons, John. W. Logsdon, Baltimore, and Patrick Kenny Logsdon, Frostburg; five daughters, Mrs. Rita Hartley, Mt. Pleasant Beach, Baltimore; Mrs. Marianna McGreevy, Barton; Mrs. Patricia Keyes, Barton; Mrs. Eleanor Sheally, Detroit; Mrs. Monica Mason, Lonaconing; one brother, Earl Barry, Frostburg; two sisters, Mrs. Daniel Scott, Turtle Creek, Pa.; Mrs. Hazel Gundlock, Weston, W. Va.; and 25 grandchildren. Requiem mass will be celebrated today at 9:30 a.m. in St. Gabriel's Church here and interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lonaconing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Allegany county League for Crippled Children.
