She was attending Chillicothe Business College and became ill while spending the Christmas vacation with her parents. She was born near Bacon Chapel April 25, 1908, aged 18 years, 8 months and 21 days. She lived in the vicinity of Bacon Chapel until the year of 1922 when the family moved to Clarence. In the fall of 1923 they moved to Duncans Bridge, where she resided until her death Jan. 21, 1927 when she left us to go to her Heavenly Home. She united with the Methodist church at Bacon Chapel in innocent childhood and has lived a beautiful Christian life since. When moving to Duncans Bridge she with her family moved her membership to Monroe Chapel. She leaves to mourn her death a mother and father, one brother, Clell(sic), three sisters, Iva Lee, Dorothy and Erline, and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at one o'clock at Bacon Chapel church conducted by Rev. Legrand, of Madison.
