Description	:	Mrs. Mary D. Faubion, age 80 years 5 months, passed away at Chelan this morning. Mary Dragen Chick was born at the old Indian mission southwest of Kansas City, Mo., in what was then Kansas territory on Aug. 16, 1851 and died in Chelan, Feb. 11, 1932. Her father lived most of his life in Kansas City, Mo., and was the first postmaster there. On Sep. 10, 1873, at the age of 18, she was married to Rev. N. G. Faubion, a Southern Methodist minister. Mary Dragen Chick was born at the old Indian mission southwest of Kansas City, Mo., in what was then Kansas territory on Aug. 16, 1851 and died in Chelan, Feb. 11, 1932. Her father lived most of his life in Kansas City, Mo., and was the first postmaster there. On Sep. 10, 1873, at the age of 18, she was married to Rev. N. G. Faubion, a Southern Methodist minister. To this union there were born nine children: Aletha H., Margaret E., William R., Annie V., Frank E., Julia B., Wilbur W., Findlay H., and Joseph R., of whom Mrs. Margart Houser of Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Annie Baughman of Lecompton, Kansas, Frank and Findlay of Chelan and J. R. Faubion of Dorothy, Alberta, Canada survive her. The others preceded her in death. Her husband, Rev. Faubion died here in 1917, the first victim of the flu epidemic. She came to Washington in 1905 and resided in Withrow until 1907 when she moved to Lakeside. In 1915 she came to Chelan where she resided until death.
