Read More	MRS MARY LANDON LANDON DIED ON TUESDAY Funeral Service Will Be Held Today One of the community's well known and highly regarded younger matrons, Mrs. Mary Delores Landon, died after a prolonged illness at her home on Walnut street Tuesday night. She was 46 years of age. Mrs. Landon was a native of Saxis, Va., the daughter of Webster White and Mrs. Marion Sterling Beck, both of whom survive and reside in Crisfield. Mrs. Landon was a very likeable and popular woman, active and interested in community affairs until illness curtailed these activities. While her health permitted she also took an active part in church work, being a member of the First Baptist Church here. She had a wide circle of warm friends and neighbors who received news of her death with sincere sorrow. She is resting at the Bradshaw Funeral Parlors until 1:00 o'clock this afternoon, Friday, when she will be taken to the Baptist Temple to lie in state until 2:30 o'clock, when funeral services will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. E. E. Garland, assisted by the Rev. Wilbur Whalen, pastor of the Holiness Christian Church. Interment will be in Suunyridge Memorial Park. Bearers will be members of the Reese Betts Sunday School Class of the Baptist Temple. She is survived by her husband, Charles Henry Landon, her parents, six children, Mrs. John F. Kundt of Waverly, Va., Mrs. Richard Ennis of Princess Anne, Mrs. William Gunter, Charles Henry Landon, Jr., Erma Lillian Landon and Viva Jane Landon, all of Crisfield, and one brother, Preston White of Silver Spring, Md., and one grandchild.
