Read More	Obituary Marshall (MI) Evening Chronicle Wednesday, March 28, 1962 Homer News Mary Hartley Dies Tuesday In New York ---Mrs. Mary E. Hartley, 88, widow of Thomas E. Hartley died at Northern West Chester hospital in Mt. Kisco, N. Y., Tuesday evening at 6:30, where she had been a patient for five days. ---Most of her life had been spent in Homer, but a few weeks ago she went to live with her son, Thomas K. Hartley in Mt. Kisco. She was born Oct. 12, 1873 in Three Rivers, the daughter of David and Annie (Peppet) Kirby. ---She graduated from Homer high school in 1893 and married Thomas E. Hartley in Homer. He preceded her in death about 40 years ago. She was a member of the Episcopal church, but while living in Homer attended the Presbyterian church and was a member of the Presbyterian Women's association in Queen Esther guild, and Stella chapter No. 140, Order of the Eastern Star. ---Surviving are two sons, Thomas K. of Kisco and Harry A. of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Marshall (MI) Evening Chronicle Tuesday, April 3, 1962 Homer Funeral Services For Mrs. Thomas Hartley Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas Hartley, 88, a Homer resident until about two months ago, who died in a hospital in Mt. Kisco, N. Y. Tuesday evening, were held at the Westbrook-Tidd funeral home here Friday afternoon. Dr. J.C. Shull and the Rev. B. L. Helmke of the First Presbyterian church of Homer officiated. Interment was in Fairview cemetery.
